Dean- What you find in LDS Ancestral files and CD-Roms shouldn't surprise you. Frankly I never look at them except under dire circumstances for LEADS. AND THEN I don't believe a word of it until I contact the source. You have been around long enough to know not to believe anything you read especially in files that ACCEPT ANYTHING from anyone without proof. I will stick to TUNSTALL until someone proves me wrong. I can't find an AMBROSE s/o John in the right time frame but I haven't looked at all my files yet. No Johns and Catherines either. Certainly someone of our 400 subscribers can find them if they are there. I recommend you contact the SOURCE of all the LDS information and see where they got it. If LDS has it they know where it came from. Check it out. . There aren't 10% of LDS submitters who can prove anything unless they belong to the church. Good leads perhaps and lots of names but usually nothing more. I have checked LDS confirmed marriage records reported by various churches-not ancestral files- and find no AMBROSE marriage records. They never made it to LDS records. Sandy Hunt Lubbock Tejas
