Hi everybody. I have been having trouble "finding" Hunt info farther back than my great grandfather and would like to know if any of you have any tips or connections. My name is Randy Hunt My father was Adam Cassie Hunt His father was the same His father was Richard Hunt (my great grandfather) All I know of Richard Hunt is that he maybe was born around 1840 and got married to Emily Wylie in Scott Co. MO around 1860. He lived there until he died in 1879. He was supposed to have joined the Civil War (maybe confederate because I don't find him in the Union records). Family stories have him growing up in the South near "plantations". I find a Richard Hunt in Franklin Co, TN living with a Spencer Hunt that is 70 years old. I know that my grandfather, Adam Cassie Hunt was the only living son so there are no other Hunts in my line that I don't know of. Does anyone on this list have info or connections to this Spencer Hunt or the other "grandchildren" listed in the 1850 Franklin Co, TN census. They are David and Elizabeth (maybe others).
