    1. Re: [HUNT-L] Hunt & Byrd Connections
    2. Shirley: I have been VERY interested in this family for a long time, but my question is a hard one: Who was the father of Stephen Hunt Sr.? A Stephen Hunt (Sr, no doubt) was the administrator of the estate of Thomas Hunt of Bedford City, Bedford Co., Va. Estate appraised 23rd day of Jan. 1802; and Stephen Hunt signed as administrator. It was a small estate: one bay horse, saddle and surcingle, bridle, 1 pair of saddle bags, 1 trunk and looking glass, 120# bar iron, cash on hand (21 pounds), 2 bonds (looks like 205 lbs.), ditto (2 lbs.), two other illegible items worth total of 12 or 13 lbs. (Sandy---you'll have to tell me again how to make the English pound sign!). It was also signed by Julos Sanders, Stephen Hale and Lewis Arther (sic). Felicia P.S. These Hunts (Stephen and Caty,) were Quakers. -----Original Message----- From: Lovern <shklvn@bellatlantic.net> To: HUNT-L@rootsweb.com <HUNT-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, July 12, 1999 10:01 AM Subject: [HUNT-L] Hunt & Byrd Connections >Hi, Haven't posted anything for awhile but ran across this.
