I wrote to Hunt-Wesson asking for the history of the company to see if I can connect those Hunts to mine. They sent me some information, and it was helpful, but I need some more help. "Brothers Joseph and William HUNT incorporated their Santa Rosa company in 1890 as the Hunt Brother Fruit Packing Company." They later relocated to Hayward California. My ancestor Amos Nelson HUNT of Missouri had three brothers who left for California c. 1858. Family history has that these brothers, Andrew, Wesley, and Jesse, went into the fruit business. So far I haven't found them in the CA census. I'm wondering if anyone has any information regarding the above Joseph and William as there may be a possibility they were sons of one of Amos' brothers.
