Hi, the virus was sent to me today. I scanned it and found the virus then I replied to the sender, which I didn't know it was in the first place, and told them they sent me a virus but of course, the email bounced back! Ohwell, at least I didn't download it and I deleted it. The email address looked like it was somewhere in Austrailia. So if you get it, don't download it! It is very important to all of us. Most important is the name of the book, the author and the date published. I recognize many of the names but the above information if you will furnish will tell us which came first-your information or what we already know from other or later sources. In a (large) nut-shell: Theodore Lansing Hunt -- b. 1869 Watertown, Jefferson Co. NY; son of Horace S. Hunt & Harriet L. Bailey Theodore 'supposedly' married Gertrude L. Loftus, daughter of Peter Loftus and Margaret unknown of Watertown, NY. I am uncertain where this info originated, but I suspect it came from the Wyman or Bond books. Theo & Gertrude apparently had had 5 daughters: Harriet Mary, Lillian E., Margaret E., Florence K. and Gertrude C. I have been unable to verify this marriage!! What I have found is Theodore L. Hunt listed on the 1870 & 1880 census in Watertown -- BUT not with Gertrude. His wife is listed as Bridget (b. 1846/7 in Ireland). In 1870 they have one daughter, Hattie, age 7. By 1880 they have 4 daughters: Hattie -10; Lillie - 7; Maggie - 5; and Florence - 10/12. I have not found them in 1900 or 1910. By 1920 Theodore is married to Emma B. (b. 1860 OH). The kids are gone, but his widowed older brother Horace is living with them. Calvary cemetery, Watertown, Jefferson Co. NY [also called Huntington cemetery] - surname index (no dates were given) found online shows Bridget Hunt, Lillian Hunt & Marie Hunt buried there. In Sec. B of Pamelia cemetery, Jefferson Co. NY - there is an inscription for Emma B. Hunt, wife of Theo. L. 1859-Jan 15, 1924. I have not yet confirmed the death date of Theo. Hunt, but believe it was in 1935. Can any Hunt researchers out there help me out by giving me the source for this supposed marriage to Gertrude Loftus? It had to have come from somewhere!
