Sally (unknown) 22 Feb 1786 While residing near Camden, He was drafted during 1780 under Capt. Thomas Ellerbee. He also served under Col. Benton and Gen Marion and was in several skirmishes with Toires. After the battle of Guiford Courthouse, he joined Capt. Claudius Pegues, Col Benton and Gen Marion. He assisted in capturing Capt. Kimbrell, a Tory. In 1781, he was under Lt. Michael, Capt. Ellerbee and General Marion. Later, he served under Col Brandon. (moved to Tenn.) James Hunt He enlisted in Second Regiment on 4 Nov 1775. Huger on 9 Dec. 1775. S.C.H.&G., III, 198 I suspect Cresswell it my line. As it is stated Andrea papers he is buried in the Hunt's Bluff area of Marlboro County, SC. With the Land Plat I have on my line and with the new Satellite picture of the globe I can match the Hunt's Bluff to the land plat which has a unique shape and this shape is still visilbe from satellite images of today mapping.
