Found this in my Piedmont Lineage, (VA-NC Piedmont Genealogical Society publication). It's an abstract of a chancery suit published in the Roanoke Sentinel on April 10th, 1824. Hope it helps somebody. VIRGINIA, TO WIT: In Halifax County Court on Chancery the 25th day of January 1824 Plffs. Allen Parish and Francis his wife, formerly Francis Hunt against Rhoda Hunt, Spencer Hunt, James Jones, Henry Jones, Susan Jones & Lovisa Jones, who are infants under the age of 21 years, Nancy Hunt, Willis Jones and Lucy his wife, formerly Lucy Hunt, Edward Hunt, Susannah Hunt, who is an idiot, Daniel Hunt, M. Hunt and M_tild (?) Hunt Willis Jones is appointed Guardian ad litem of the infant defendants and committee of the defendant Susan Hunt. The Defendants Spencer Hunt, Edward Hunt, and Daniel Hunt are not inhabitants of this Commonwealth. Lisa Hunt Rawlings
