He married, in 1823, at Schaghticoke, NY, Betsy Burns. They lived in Genesee Co., NY, about 1830, then in Harmony, Chautauqua Co., NY, in 1840- 1850, in Darien or Delavan, Walworth Co., WI, in the 1850s to 1870, then he probably went to Iowa. Their children included Herbert H., Wesley, Amy C., Alexander, Oliver H., William, Gibson, and Frank. William was in Kansas in 1891 and died in Missouri before 1907.
