On Richard HUNT's American Citizenship certificate 10th Aug 1858 it is stated: Born Jan. 1832 in Waterford Ireland, Arrived New York on or about 19th July 1855, Residence in Wrentham Massachusetts District, Occupation farmer. He arrived in Australia by,most likely, 1863 and married Alice Butler in 1864 in Melbourne,Victoria. They are my gt.gt. grandparents. Can anyone shed light on Richard HUNT's activities in America? Would anyone know on which ship he arrived in New York? ( or,for that matter Australia?) His parents were Thomas and Alice (nee POWER),Waterford Ireland.
