Yes, Jacob was the son of Ephraim Hunt b. 4 Jan 1729, Braintree, Mass. and his wife Delight Mann. Ephraim and Delight were married 11 Oct 1750 in Braintree. and he was the son of Ephraim and Ruth Allen. The next generation is Capt. Ephraim Hunt and Joanna Alcook and the next, Ephraim Hunt and Ann Richards. This Ephraim Hunt is the son of the immigrant, Enoch Hunt and Dorothy Barker of Titendam Parish, England. Ephraim (who married Ann Richards,) came to Newport, R.I. in 1636 (with his father?)
