It is very difficult for me to admit I can't find a HUNT in MA--but such is the case with the attached message. I have looked through everything I have and find no Lyman A. Hunt, Dunston or Silas Hunt that fits the bill. i know some Frederick Hunts but not GEORGE Frederick Hunt although I remember some years ago looking for a George Fred and found to my dismay and much later that he had dropped the "George". The names LYMAN and ALDEN arfe both names associated with my family. Assistance of our friends closely associated with MA would be much appreciated. Hunt born 11/30/1820 in Cheshire, MA, His father - John Hunt married to Mary Dunton 1/15/1818 in Cheshire, MA. They all resided within the Berkshire County area of Massachusetts from the 1880's back. I have only been able to get back to John and Mary. I am trying to go further back. Would you possibly have any other information. I do know that Lyman Hunt is listed in the "Business Directory of Berkshire County, MA as dealor in watches, closks and jewelry, silver and plated ware, guns, pistols, ammunitions and musical instruments. His business was in Williamstown, MA. I have been told the Hunts are buried in a cemetary in Williamstown. Any help you would give me would be greatly appreciated.
