OKL...lets try this. I am looking for the parentage of Edward William Hunt b .10-19-1877 on TN. Probably Montgomery or Stewart County. He married Elizabeth Mary Harrison b. May 1, 1869 and had only one son, Charles Plummer Hunt b. 1909. His father probably either William (Billy) Hunt who married Sarah Bryant or William (Billy) Hunt who married Pushin Gilbert. There is evidence to support either marriage or maybe there are two Billy Hunts in the area at that time. The William Hunt that married Pushin Gilbert, however, cannot be found on ANY census records at that time and I KNOW they lived then. They were farmers. Family lore says that Edward had some sisters and Charles Plummer had a cousin named Hill Hunt (I even have a picture of him) so Edward had to have at least one brother. HELP...I have looked and looked and when I find any records at all they conflict with each other! Lori
