One of the primary requisites of doing genealogy by computer is that you know how to run a computer and KNOW your genealogy program. If you don't know what a GEDCOM is you don't know enough to do genealogy by computer. If you don't know what you are doing please tell us. Then we will be able to help. Hours are spent on research by all of us but when the result is determined and you can't read the result because you forgot to tell us you are using a MAC or you don't know how to handle a GEDCOM or have some other requirements, it is a very disheartening to me.. We try so very hard to get answers with documentation for you-spend hours on your requests and try to send you the answers. We WANT to help and get you connected with your relatives but if you can't run a computer please seek some help locally. If that doesn't work ask us to help on your basic computer operation. We don't mind a bit even if its name isn't HUINT.
