Dear subscribers, At an auction I bought 2 very well done portraits in quite poor condition that had been let go by ex-wife of the family (I was told). These portraits are of Dr. George Seymour b 1816 d 1861 son of Moses Seymour II and his wife Sarah Hunt Seymour b 7-5-1821 or 1823 and died 4-21-43 or 1877? These are large portraits and the frames are heavy and well made. They are not signed as well as I can tell. I have an appointment with the Nelson Art Gallery in K.C, MO to learn more about them. My other question is whether or not I am related to Sarah. She is not in my direct line but I would like to have the relatives of her father Arad Hunt 22-9-1790 and mother Sally Newell.
