Hi, This is my first time posting to this group so I hope I'm doing it right. I'm trying to work on my father's family. His name was James A. Hunt. Born Sept 23, 1903 somewhere in W. Virginia. Died April 17, 1970 in Frederic, MI. This information from his death certificate. Married Lillie E.Pruitt (my mother) in Flint, MI June 25, 1937. Marriage license gives father's name as Dan Hunt (Death cert. gives father's name as George) I tend to think Dan is correct. He was born in Virginia. Year unknown. Marriage license gives mother's name as Mary Carmack. Death certificate lists Mary Mays (probably remarried.) James had two brothers George and Gilbert, both younger, I think. My father and mother were divorced in the 1940's when I was small. I know that he married again twice and had 2 children by the 2nd wife (have no name). Have not been able to locate 3rd wife, Cynthia Tuller. I am waiting to receive soundex for the 1900, 1910 and 1920 in West Virginia, meanwhile thought someone might have some information.
