I have three daughers of my William Raymond and Mercy Davis married Deacon Simon Hunt (1704-1790) and his two sons, Simon Hunt Jr, b 1734, and Ephraim Hunt, b 1736. This is from History of Jaffrey. Someone else argues that the math doesn't add up. It sure doesn't as to be the mother of Simon Hunt Jr Mary must have been married and given birth at age 11. She hereslef was baptized in 1723 and the succession of ages of the Raymond children suggests that little time had elapsed between birth and baptism. Lucy and Tabitha wwere born a little later, in 1737 and 1743. Yet the Hunt marriages story appears well researched. There is an entire tale about the interelationships among the families of two new settlements in New Hampshire. Does anyone have any information about it?
