Hello Hunt-List Joy Peach in "The Hunt for Simon Hunt "of Concord" Massachusetts"; The American Genealogist; vol. 75, no. 1, January 2000, has corrected a long standing error in Wyman and other genealogies. This affects the descendants of WILLIAM of CONCORD. She found that the Simon Hunt listed as the son of William and Mary Carly Hunt could not be his son. (William's only son d in 1717/18) She presents convincing evidence that this Simon (ca 1713 - 1777) was actually the son of Isaac3 (Isaac2, William1) Hunt and Mary Willard, and was not the Simon listed in DAR records as a Revolutionary War Veteran.
