My earliest known Hunt is Thomas HUNT who was born (acc. to IGI) sometime around 1806 in Douglas, IOM. He married Catherine CORLETT and they had John James HUNT in 1838 in Douglas. John James HUNT moved to Liverpool with his mother after the death of his father (date, place unknown). He was a coach wheel maker and married Martha COFFEY in 1866 and had 3 children, Elizabeth E. HUNT, b. 1870, Mary J. HUNT b. 1871 and Henry HUNT b. 1877. The family lived in Everton at 28 Beresford St. (1871 census), 5 Howarth St. (1881) and 93 Whitefield Rd. (1891). I believe that John James HUNT died in 1904, June qtr, West Derby (acc. to Free BMD). Henry HUNT is the only one of the children I can follow - He married Edith Maud MATHER 1901, Mar. qtr, Toxteth Park. I have them on the 1901 at 57 North Hill in Toxteth Park. They were living with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, Henry and Arnold MATHER. Any help in either direction is welcome. Thanks, Liz Forsyth
