I am not familiar with "The Virginia Genealogist" My original records came from cousin Betty Key of Memphis,TN she worked with Dr Marcus Key in old records in Abermarle Co VA where John Key & Martha Tandy Key had there plantation. They wrote articles in some records posibly the one you are talking about. What do you have about the different William Key's, were they father and son?
