I have them as Richard Marcus Dedmon and Hannah Beiley of Rowan County NC, then Greenville SC then settled in Rutherford county NC. Mark was in the Rev War and died in Rutherford County in 1839. He and Mary Polly below were children of Thomas Charles Deadman and Sarah Griffith, Griffin of Patapsco MD before they settled at the forks of the Yadkin River in Old Rowan county NC. they were Tories and their land was confiscated in MD so they headed south to NC I descend from Marcus or Mark's sister Mary Polly Deadman and Jacob Woolf, Wolf, Wolfe, b in Stokes County NC.
