So right now there no connection through his Y-DNA to Y-DNA of a few of us who are in South Carolina. At least we do not have the signature value that really show up in all the William Bradford Hunt lines. There might be another explanation for your South Carolina line. In my research I came across another group of Hunts that settled in North Carolina and were Quakers. I do know that part of South Carolina was settled with the intention of creating something similar to William Penn's Pennsylvania. I will do some checking and see what I can dig up. It may be possible that the group of Quaker Hunts I found in North Carolina were originally from South Carolina. By the way, sorry for the way my email was displayed. It shifted the lines I typed right in the middle of information making it rather confusing.

    3. No Problem, I have land plat and using the satellite mapping we have today I can make out the land my ancester was on in Marlboro County to be at Hunt's Bluff. Andrea Leanardo's work state that there is a Creswell Hunt buried there and well it aint been seen since 1910s from way I see the discussion. He also said my ancester had a soon who had to be born between 1860 and 1870 named Christopher Creswell Hunt. In Philiadelphia there is a Creswell Hunt marrying Elizabeth Evans about 1795 I believe it was at a Swedish Church. The neighbor in SC is William Evans so I wonder if there is a connection. The Hunt's Bluff it just up river from Cashua Ferry also known as Cashaway Ferry and this area is known as Welsh Neck. The William Penn and Welsh connection from up north when they decided to leave the land William Peen gave them up there. I suspect Hunt's Bluff probably as old as 1735. Al paper from this area would have been lost in Georgetown Courthouse fire in 1790 and the later one in like early 1800s. I am also interested in Campbell that owned the land up river from Hunt's Bluff. Allen > >
