    3. I'm not sure what the topic is, I think I must have received this by mistake. But I am doing a little "Hunt-ing" of my own! Any info on Hunt books or manuscripts, especially the free type on the web, is greatly appreciated. I am not doing much research now, but I have always admired you and your research on the Hunt family. Good luck on your move. 3. Hi Roger, I have been researching the Hunts of Vermont for decades. Perhaps you are a long-lost cousin! My Hunts descend from Emory and Martha Hunt who are found in Pownal, Bennington Co., VT as early as 1790. At least several of their 14 children moved a few miles across the border to Hoosick, Rensselaer Co., NY, before moving further eastward. Two sons, Ebenezer and William, moved to Newstead, Erie Co, NY, near Akron, ca. 1826-28, and settled near the Clarence Twp. border in an area still called Hunts Corners. Later, other siblings also are found here, as well as their 99-year-old mother, Martha, in 1855. No doubt some of the siblings stayed in VT or northeastern NY. I would love to find out more about them. I descend from William and have much, much more information on several branches of this Hunt line. Some of my basic research can be found on my website below. I am always interested in any information anyone has to offer. Let me know if I can be of assistance in finding your Hunt roots in VT. Email me privately with any data you can find on your ancestors (dates, places, names, etc.). I will see what I can find for you. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~drapertree Elwyn Draper Visit the Draper-tree at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~drapertree ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a PS3 game guru.
