Hi Phyllis This sound more like the John and Martha Hunt line. I believe this is the line that went from NC > SC > KY > Indiana. At the John Hunt and Christopher Hunt do no appear to be related. Once more folks get test the better this picture gets. Renay and I are thinking we are from the same line of Christopher Hunt. It appear she has more proof then I do. Samuel that Renay is working on was born in 1790. -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Phyllis Rice" <melvina@farmerstel.com> > > I am looking for a Samuel Hunt b. 1839 in Fayette County, Kentucky > I do not know his father's name but his mother's name is Martha. > They moved from Fayette County, Kentucky to Indiana > He was married in Gibson County, Indiana, in 1870 census > in Daviess County, Indiana. > Could this William Hunt be my Samuel's Father? > Would apprieciate any information on this family. > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to HUNT-request@rootsweb.com > with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of > the message
Do you have any information on this John and Martha line? According to the 1860 Martin County, Indiana Census Martha 46 was born in Virginia. It also list a John age 21 born in Kentucky.and a Jesse WGT age 8 born in Indiana I don't know what W.G.T. stands for. On the pension papers she was 74 on October 3, 1885. This is all the information I know about my Samuel.
