I'm seeking the ancestors of Martha Hunt (b. c. 1723) who married Louis Guion (b. 1723) in Westchester Co., NY (I believe). I have located the Guion family, but not the Hunt family. One source gives Martha's parents as: Thomas Hunt (1680-1758) & Rachel Arnold (abt. 1684-1737). This source gives Thomas' parents as Josiah Hunt (1648-1732) & Martha?. The 2nd source (Guion Ancestry data) gives Martha's father as: Joseph Hunt. Do you have any tie-ins on these people. The Guion family lived in New Rochelle & Eastchester (Westchester Co.), NY, so I expect my Hunts came from that area. I hope to hear from you. 3. Laura's message re Haynes and Deborah Hunt. I have checked all my Deborahs with a father William. This is the only entry that comes close: William Hunt of Little Compton RI and wife Elizabetrh Drury had a daughter Deborah on May 6, 1739, one of 13 children. However Deborah's husband is listed as James Pearce. It is possible she could have married twice. The date is off 1 year and RI is close to NY. Let me know if this is of value to your research. I was unable to find a Haynes with a wife Deborah whose father was William. Some of our other subscribers may do better. Sandy Hunt in Lubbock The International Hunt Consortium

    3. George you came to the right place. This is the Internatiional HUNT Consortium. We have what you want and its long. How do you want it by GEDCOM or text? I willl extract it from the Felica Gourdin file on our WEBSITE when I get your response Its going to be probably a megabyte unless you just have specific questions. Also available is the "The Corrected Genealogy of Jonathan Hunt" a MSs or 140 pages or so. It can be reproduced at cost. Additionally is a small manuscript showing the ancestors of Jonathan back to Ralph Hunt of LI. The material in the computer if fairly complete but there is a lot more in the MSs. I suggest that we send you some of the computer material and then you can decide whether you want to go into the MSs. Sandy Hunt in Lubbock

It took me most of the day on Sunday, but I got my database at the Denton Genealogy site updated. It now has over 23,000 people and over 8,000 different surnames. It is not just Dentons, but all the associated families including a large number of Hunts. Some of the other major surnames are Moore, Plumlee, Chastain, Cooper, Baker, Reneau and others. There is also a page of downloadable gedcoms for Hunts as well as several other lines. The gedcoms contain a great deal more information about the associated families than is on the database on line. The Denton gedcom also includes all the notes and 'stories' of these folks. If anyone has any questions or sees a connection, please let me know! Blessings!
