    1. [HUNT-L] James Hunt in Franklin Co., TN 1820 Census
    2. Jim Ward
    3. To All: I'm looking for the wife (or wives) and ancestors of James Hunt who appears on the 1820 US Census for Franklin County, TN. He appears to have been born about 1775, place unknown. He had one known son of approximately 10 children that I have been able to uncover at the present time, Nathaniel G. Hunt, born in Franklin County, TN, on November 18, 1818. Nathaniel is next found in the 1840 US Census for Marshall County, MS with a wife and young son. I have Nathaniel's descendants through to modern-day, but have been unable to discover the names of his siblings. Does anyone out there have a connection? Is anyone researching the Franklin County, TN Hunt family lines? Thanks in advance, Jim

    3. ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul R. Damico To: SBH3@prodigy.net Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 1999 8:28 PM Subject: Hunts in New York I am researching my line of Hunt's in New York.My known data from family papers is as follows: Clarrisa Hunt, born November 27 1833.Clarissa was the daughter of Richard Hunt and Pheobe Wheeler according to her obit. She was married twice, first to William Goulder on November 11,1855.They were married at the First Presby.Church of Jamaica.(I have the original marriage certificate.)William and Clarrisa had issue three children:William HS Golder:born October 02 1857;Ida Anne Golder, born March 25 1860;George Henry Golder, born July 16 1863. Clarissa Hunt Golder married Richard Volckman in 1868.Clarrisa died July 16 1916.She is buried in the New Lots Private Cementary in New Lots New York. Also in this small Private Cementary are the following Hunts(gravesite unknown, most likely in the "Volckman Lot") William H Hunt Maria Hunt:appears to be the spouse of William Jesse Hunt:appears to be the son of Willam My records from the Hunt line also include a "muster out"paper for Henry Hunt dated 1817 from the "New York 1st Horse Artilliary" This could indicate that Clarrisa's father was Richard Henry Hunt. The records of the New Lots Reformed Dutch Church also list the marriage of Heneritta Hunt.(I believe this to be the sister of Clarissa Hunt because her spouse to be is shown in the 1870 census as living with Clarissa (Hunt) Volckman. ) Do you have any linking info to this data? Thank-you Cindy Damico = Cindy Damico
