I enjoy buying lovely old pictures like these in antique shops (pictures with names on the back) and locating descendants/family members so that I can re-unite the pictures, for only my costs, with the people who will treasure them. The picture was taken by the S. Klopot Photographic Studio in Knox, Indiana in about 1890 (my estimate, based on the type of photo and clothing, etc.). Knox is in Starke Co., IN. Sheldon appears to be about 22-25 years old, give or take a few years. He has dark hair, is cleanshaven, and is dressed in a suit, with overcoat. The picture is an original, on heavy card stock (4- ½” x 6- ½”) as was typical during that time period. The picture is in excellent condition. If you have Hunt family members from the Starke Co., IN area during this time frame, please Email me directly at [email protected]
