I would like to plan my first visit to Hungary in 2006. I would be interested in locating a guide for a private tour for two people at a reasonable rate. I would like to visit the historical places in Budapest and Pecs and the nearby small village of my ancestors. I would appreciate any suggestions and contact information. Joseph, There is a very good genealogy research company located in Budapest that I ordered my family genealogy from and they do tours. You can visit their website at www.familytree.hu and I am sure they would give you info and rates and so on. Anyone interested in hiring a researcher right in Hungary I would highly recommend them. They were a bit expensive for the research, but very well worth it!
