Hi I have been trying to find information about my mother's relatives. She died in 1976. Her maiden name was Kocsis (which now I realize is somewhat common). Her father's name was Antony Kocsis (some place I found Anton ) and her mother was Anna Lemak Kocsis. Anna mother was Mary Giscsek from Veszprem, Hungary. Anthony Kocsis mother was Elizabeth Markos born 1730 died 1750. Mother had one (or two when mother spoke about her family)sister name Anna. A. and Anna Kocsis lived in Michigan (mother was born in Lansing in 1913). They went back to Hungary and before WWII my mother came back to the US. I THINK somehow the Kocsis is related to the Estok from Lansing, MI because when we had a family vacation to MI, mother went to Lansing and looked up Estok in the phone book and preceded to talk in Hungarian and then we went to visit Helen Estok who passed away in 1991. I've tried everything I know to look up and see if I have any relatives (my father passed in 2004). Any help! would be greatly appreciated.
