My grandfather, Jozsef Csanadi (listed as Csanad on manifest) emmigrated from Gelse, Zala Megye, Hungary on April 4, 1912. He was born August 5, 1893. His ship, the Zeeland, docked in Portland, Maine and he took a train to Hamilton, Ontario. He came back to the US in 1914 (though I cannot find the record, the date is listed on his Naturalization papers). The story goes that his name was changed at the Canadian border to Joseph Chonody. He had a sister, Anna. I assume she stayed in Hungary. I am looking for all family in Hungary. Thanks. Debi Chonody Ross
