I am seeking information on a George THOMAS, b. ~1877, and his wife Agnes nee ZEY, b. ~1877, who emigrated from "Austria-Hungary" with Hungary crossed out by the census taker to the US in 1905 and settled first in the Chicago area where George was a preacher. Family history says that the Thomases were German, living in the Transylvania region and they may have had an association with Franz-Joseph's government or army or they may have been part of a travelling, gypsy-like entertainment group. Any information on a Thomas family in Hungary would be interesting. Fred Minty fminty@telus.net
