Thanks for the references to the Almasi,Almasy etc. names. I also have in my tree the surname of "Tamok". From Abara, Zemplen county. Suzzanna Tamok married to one of my Almasi descendants. One of her grand daughters lives in LockPort, NewYork. John Almasi(Almashy) and Susan lived in South eastern Ohio. Perry county. John died and Susan moved on to live with a brother inlaw name Jozef Almasy who ran a butcher shop on Market Strret in McKeesport, Pa. She work for him for years. I have more info if needed.
