The Vidette Messenger Valparaiso Indiana Nov. 20, 1973 Obits MRS. FRANK CALLAHAN (Margaret D.) age 74, of Peppercreek Road, died today at Porter Mem. Hosp. after a three day illness. Born Feb. 26, 1899 at Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred DAVIES. On May 2, 1918 in Ohio, she was married to Frank P. CALLAHAN, who preceded her in death June 1957. Prior to her marriage she was a Civil Service Clerk in Washington during WWI. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Martins Ferry, the order of Eastern Star Chapter 164, Valparaiso. Survivors: Sons: Frank Jr. of Hebron, Ind. Robert of Lowell, Ind. Daughter: Mrs. Fred (Phyllis) SCHMIDT of Valparaiso, Ind. Daughter: Mrs. Wayne (Betty L.) JOHNSON of Rockford, Ohio Sister: Mrs. Elmer KOEHL Sr. of Triadelphia, W. Va. Sister: Mrs. Harry RUEHL of St. Clairsville, Ohio Sister: Mrs. William ALMASHY of Martins Ferry Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Lester, in 1943, and two sisters. Services at Wetmore Funeral Home and the First Methodist Church of Lowell, Ind. Burial in the Hobart Cemetery.
