Thanks for all the suggestions. I tried them all, but they are still to blurry for me to make out. I will just have to go back to the fhc and try again. They do have a machine that will print out the microfilm, but there was someone using it, and if I'm not mistaken, I would have to somehow keep track of all the pages I wanted copied. I found at least 20 or so entries that I wanted copied, so unless I can actually view the whole roll leisurely on the coping machine, it would be too much trouble to have to keep taking the microfilm roll off one machine to another twenty plus times. I've made digital copies of other things before that came out quite nicely. I just think I was too far away from the image. Thanks again for all the suggestions. :) Anne Scott & Tina Southwick wrote: >----- Original Message ----- >From: Scott & Tina Southwick >To: Anne Sprentz >Sent: Thursday, February 23, 2006 11:56 PM >Subject: Re: [HUNGARY-L] LDS microfilm/OT > > >Anne, > I have this wonderful program called Photo Explosion that my brother purchased at ABC Warehouse. Does your FHC have a scanner? Ours just recently acquired one, and the process is pretty fast. All you really need to do is to through the microfilm on the reader and jot down the page numbers for those you want to copy, then when you are at the scanner you can just forward your film from one to the next. Be sure to use the Greyscale setting--not Black and White. The results are much better--in fact my copies are excellent.
