He was already here in 1900 working in Johnstown, PA. in a steel mill. I thought I read that ships from Bremmensailed for certain companies guaranteeing employment? Could he have come in through Philadelphia for a job lined up in Johnstown?His wife and kids came through Ellis Island in 1900 and he was already established in Pa. Thanks for your words of wisdom.
