Carol asks: Where is Bukk Zsercz located in Hungary. Years ago my mother said that her mother-in-law Rebecca KIRALY told her they were from a small village outside Budapest, Hungary. The small village, today spelled Bukkzserc, is in the Megye (Megye in English is county) called Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen. It is small village in the foothills of the Bukk National Park, about a two and a half hours drive east of Budapest, close to the city Eger. The area is full of vineyards, health spas and quite a tourist destination.
