    3. All of my villages were in Hungary until the treaty of Trianon in 1920. I have purchased many microfilms directly from the Hungarian archives in Budapest. The microfilms I purchased were prepared in two weeks' time and mailed here to the states in another 2 months. Their cost varied, according to the number of meters (39 inches per meter) per roll. The average cost was about $18.00 a roll. At the time, credit cards were not accepted by the Archives, so I paid my bank $35 to make the money transfer. Totally worth it. You can handle the situation by email with the English version of Hungarian Archives' web site: http://www.natarch.hu/mol_e.htm Also, LDS will sell microfilms to university or local libraries, so you could ask your local public library to get LDS films for you. For instance, I made my case to my university library for the purchase of a dozen microfilms, and the library did purchase them. Good luck. Maureen Tighe-Brown
