Hi All! I was wondering if anyone knows how/where to purchase microfilm. We have a LDS FHL that is only open one Sat. per month, but the local public library has several readers that are accessible 6 days a week. Since I know where my family came from I could purchase the film and use it at the public library. I would greatly appreciate the help! Tina (Fuzi) Southwick southwick@voyager.net
Tina, I know that once you order the lds films and if you renew the rental 3 times, they will keep the microfilms in that library. I printed out the records.......and found that it was much easier to connect names, addresses, marriges etc. It can be a bit spendy.....but well worth it. I think it works better for me as opposed to having a genealogist do it.......you get more info. cheryl ----- Original Message ----- From: Scott & Tina Southwick To: HUNGARY-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, October 13, 2005 12:47 PM Subject: [HUNGARY-L] microfilm Hi All! Nice idea, but I think you will find that LDS does not sell its microfilms.
