The head of the family, Samuel (born about 1853), was described as a "Professor of Piano Music and Singing". Samuel lived with his wife, Rose and their children Madeleine, Rita and Denzo. But as you were told before you will have to find birth place record(s) in England to commence to do research in Hungary. Don't know if you have requested the naturalisation papers for Samuel from your National Archives: http://www.catalogue.nationalarchives.gov.uk/searchresults.asp?SearchInit=0&txtsearchterm=kordy&txtfirstdate=&txtlastdate=&txtrestriction=&hdnsorttype=Reference&image1.x=24&image1.y=9&image1=GO Maybe that document will shed light on his place of birth. If that document won't supply for you the necessary information I would advise to track down all his descendants to find out who else might have old documents from the family. Any correspondence, address book, pictures, diary or journal will do. Once you have a place of birth (even if approximate) come back and we'll see to it that you get additional help to search across the Channel.
