You can read the text of Bush's speech in Budapest, as released by his Office of the Press Secretary, at http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/06/20060622-6.html. I say "as released," because the written text is not quite accurate. I was appalled when I read that he and Laura had made a visit to "Hokok Square . . . Hokok Square is named for the father of Hungarian democracy." Hokok? Fortunately I was able to hear the actual speech on C-SPAN, and Bush made proper reference to Kossuth. Someone in the Press Secretary's office needs to have his ears boxed, and perhaps taught a little about Hungary's history. Janet
