Hi, my name is Maria Eugenia Kromholc. I was born and actually live in Argentina. I have been researching for my ancestors for a long time by now. My granparents were born in former Austro Hungarian Empire just about the beginning of the 20th century. My grandfather was czech (as it states in the records I possess) born in what today is known as Kokava nad Rimavicou. My grandmother was hungarian from Feled, now Jesenské. I would really like to share information with you, just to better know about their traditions, and all they might have lived before coming to Argentina. I must say that I didn't get the chance to meet anyone of them, unfortunately. I will also like to exchange with all of you any suggestions about my (for what I have read up to now) german surname, anything about its origins, and how come the same not so common surname ended up in jewish and lutherans branches. For what I know, none of my relatives were jews, but have found many many Krumholz, Kromholtz, and all its possible variations from Poland and being jewish. Well, I think that will make for introducing myself. Hope I havent bored you too much. Hoping to hear from you soon, Regards, Maria
