I have a perplexing problem using FTM ...wanting to be PERFECTLY accurate I have been adding special characters to make my names accurate... e.g. á Ö é etc. by using info I received from this site(?), but didn't include the double accent '' that is required on some words, such as Gyor...Gyor I went to Windows XP Character Map and found it... used it and it appeared to work, but once I leave the entry it reverts to the character WITHOUT the double accent. Has anyone found a "workaround" for this problem?? I have even put the word on the Clipboard and moved it to other entries..but again, the double accent disappears.
