Hi All, First question: Would VACLAVIC or VACLAVIK be a Hungarian spelling of this Surname? If not, what would be possible Hungarian spellings? Second question: How might this surname be "Americanized" over the years? I wonder, because I find this Surname on a 1910 PA Census, but can't find the family anywhere in 1920 or 1930 In addition, I'm not finding the family on Ship Manifests. That leans me to the possibility that the 1910 spelling is a variation the family used once in America for a few years, but changed again once they became more accustomed to American spellings.
