This morning I had an email that spoke of the village of two old villages that my clan may have come from. I have difficulty finding out which microfilm may have the church records from these areas. Does anyone know which Catholic Church area might have records for Noszlop or the ancient villages? Thanks Elizabeth V. In an old geographycal dictionary from 1851 is a name Tegye puszta. Puszta was a small locality with some house and inhabitant. It was between Devecser and Village Noszlop. (They were Eszterhazy estates). In the hungarian language : you come from Tegye means : Tegyei. From this can originate Tegyi. In attachement is an original map from 1910's from Veszprem county (tegye_1), an old military map (tegye_2) and a re-drawed (tegye_3). In this time Pula, Taliandorogd was in Zala county, Ocs in Veszprem county. In old hungarian language tegzes or tegze means archer. Best regards, Istvan Nagy maraut@ajkanet.hu
