The Greeley Daily Tribune Greeley, Col. Feb. 18, 1977 Mrs. Julia SOLYOM, mother of Mrs. Richard BIDDLE of Greeley, died Monday Feb. 14th, at Sherman hospital at Elgin, Ill. Mrs. BIDDLE left to attend the funeral for which services will be at the Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren, Elgin. Mrs. SOLYOM was born in Hungary April 18, 1872 and lived to the age 104. The family came to America in 1924. She lived in Elgin and Chicago most of her life with the exception of the times she visited her children. She was a registered nurse and was particularly expert with nursing children in polio and meningitis epidemics. Also, she gave private nursing care. Survivors besides her daughter, Mrs. BIDDLE, are 5 sons, 43 grandchildrenand 38 great grandchildren. Her husband Andrew died in 1945. Also 9 sons and 11 grandsons are deceased, all but one having been killed in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam.
