The Atchison Daily Globe Atchison, Kansas March 7, 1958 John HAGER, 73, retired farmer, died today at the Atchison hospital, where he had been a patient since last Sept. 18th. He was born in Austria-Hungary and came to Atchison county with his parents, John and Ameha? HAGER, when he was four years of age, the family settling in the Good Intent community where he grew to manhood? During his farming years his sister, Miss Mary HAGER, kept house for him 17, 1931? Two other sisters house for him until her death Jan. 17th, 1931. Two sisters and a brother also are deceased. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Katherine JACOBSEN, Huron, and 26 nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Mary's church at Purcell, where he had resided since retiring from the farm. Services at St. Mary's church Monday with Rev. Alfred Koestner officiating.
