Well, I'm reading this on Thurs night, and I take back the "all this falderall" comment. I don't know what category Ike was when he come thru on Sat am, or what the wind speed was. But the storm damage was the worst ever, and I've been thru Alicia, Allison, and 30 years worth on passing storms. The wind was terrible! And my roof leaked, soaking the carpet in my bedroom. I was busier than a one-arm paperhanger, what with a new leak springing up every 10 minutes. However, the roof stayed on, the leak was confined to the bedroom, and I'm alive.
