    3. Hi Ilona, Thanks for the information about Culinaria Hungary. I wound up spending $70.00 on cookbooks on Hungary, and Eastern Europe got a free book and a free years subscription to Bon Appetit. I have over 600 cookbooks so I really do not NEED any more. But I will enjoy everyone I bought. One is A Taste of the Past, about the daily life and household of Therese (Riza) Baruch (1851-1938) a 19th century Hungarian Jewish woman with emphasis on the meals and her daily life. The other is In Memory's Kitchen about recipes written down by malnourished women in Terezin, a Nazi concentration camp in Czechoslovakia. They wrote their recipes as a way to maintain their humanity and bring them comfort in the face of almost certain death. The recipes record the rich and robust tradition of Czech Jewish life. And another on Eastern European cuisine. See what you started. I love to read cookbooks especially ones with the history of the recipes. Thanks again and have a wonderful, healthy Christmas.
