    3. The Bridgeport Telegram Conn. June 26, 1970 Services will take place today for Herman POLLOCK, 78,of 45 Laurel Avenue, active in veterans affairs many years, who died Thursday in the Park City hospital. The funeral will be conducted in the A. L. Green funeral home, with Rabbi Sanford Hahn of Congregation Rodeph Sholom officiating. Buria will be in the Adath Yeshuren cemetery, Fairfield. Born in Hungary, Mr. POLLOCK was a Bridgeport resident since 1925 when he moved here from N. Y. City where he was employed in a theatrical business for 26 years. A theater was built in his honor in Catskill, N. Y. in 1921 by an architect of Shubert Enterprises. A past commander of the former Rogers Brothers post 149, American Legion, and Jewish War Veterans Post 63, he was a life member of both organizations. He was a member of Palestine Lodge, AF and AM, of New York, the Police Square Club and several other fraternal and civic organizations. Mr. POLLOCK was also a past president of Congregation Adath Yeshuren, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Service Bureau. In 1966 and 1967, he was Grand Marshal of "Youth Salutes Israel" parade in Bridgeport. Survivors: Wife: Mrs. Fay BLIER POLLOCK Brother: Daniel POLLOCK of Palm Beach, Florida
