    1. Re: [HUNGARY] HUNGARY Digest, Vol 3, Issue 364
    2. In 2002 we stayed at The Pilvax and liked it a lot. It was centrally located (near the Vaci utca shopping district), reasonably priced, the staff was friendly, and they had a GREAT breakfast. Their mak (poppyseed) strudel is to die for! However, there was no elevator. (I believe the law about elevators in buildings does not apply to buildings of 5 stories or less.) And I can't remember whether they had any rooms on the 1st floor. There were some items on display from the Pilvax coffee house period in the restaurant, as well as a large cimbalom which I understand was played at dinner-time. - Elaine E.
