Same to you, Gerald, have a happy Thanksgiving - wish the same everybody else. Re your query of 1828 census records: why don't you look it up yourself? LDS has the record for Szomolnok, on film # 623102. Joe Equinunk, PA - USA [email protected] Gerald Kisabeth wrote: > Happy Thanksgiving ... > > Oh! by the way, I have another request. Joe, I have been looking at the church record for Smolnik (Szomolnok) for several weeks now at our local Mormon Stake but cannot find anything close to the name. On 2 separate records Veronica Gabron is listed as being born in Szepes-Szomolnok (now Smolnik, Slovakia). I was hoping that someone may have the 1 listing for the surname Gabron in the 1828 Hungarian Census for the county of Szepes. Perhaps her family was from a nearby village. Again if someone has access to the 1828 Hung. Census for Szepes Co.(megye) please look up the surname Gabron for me & tell me the village. ----- Original Message ----- From: Joseph J Jarfas To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2008 10:59 PM Subject: Re: [HUNGARY] Happy Thanksgiving Same to you, Gerald, have a happy Thanksgiving - wish the same everybody else. Just in case, Gerald, nobody has that information, the film # given contains 50+ villages. Likely most of them close to each other. Chances are you will find your name - but you will have to wade through the whole roll! :-( Joe Equinunk, PA - USA [email protected] Gerald Kisabeth wrote: > Joe, I have been looking at the church record for Smolnik (Szomolnok) > for several weeks now at our local Mormon Stake but cannot find > anything close to the name.
